Hair Problems

Did you have any information that the how many an average person have hairs, no, it just 5 million hairs. It is interesting that Hair grows all over your body except on lips, palms and the soles of feet. Probably it takes almost a month for healthy hair to grow half an inch. Mostly the life time of hairs is up to six years and then fall out and than new hairs grows in their place. The main feature of the Hair is that it helps to keep you warm. And it also protects eyes, ears and nose from small particles in the air. Common problem with the hair and scalp include hair loss, infections, and flaking.Hair Loss It is also called as Alopecia, generally we lose up to 100 hairs from our scalp every day. Which is very normal and in most people, these hairs grow back. But in many cases men and some women lose hair as they grow older or with some other problems. Generally one can also lose hair after certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes or lupus. But if you are using some certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, this may also lose your hair. Some other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history or poor nutrition, these are some main and common causes of the hair loss in both male and females but mostly in males. Some treatments for hair loss can be useful which depends on the cause. In many cases, treating the underlying cause will correct the problem. Other treatments include medicines and hair restoration.
